Wow...those are all so true. It is very difficult. I took care of my mom the last 3 years of her life and she lived in our house the last year before she died. It was a full circle of experiences and emotions...and completely draining.
It is so hard and yet, when I look back on it now, I realize the rewards much more than I ever did then. That sounds weird...reward isn't the right word. But something like that. I'm grateful that I got to do that for her.
You and Bob are in my thoughts and prayers.
