Sarah Amanda Maus
June 5th 1986 God granted me my hearts desire....
a daughter
I felt like the happiest mom in the world...labor had been difficult and an emergency trip to the operating room proved unnecessary...but then they took Sarah and put her in ICU for respiratory problems... she was all hooked up to tubes & oxygen....very scary start...
They sent us home the next day! All Better!
The boys welcomed her with open arms....
Nathan Said "she is beautiful!" Joel said."oh! her touched me!"
Well she has touched all of us ever since....
I was expecting a dark hair baby girl, Bob & I both having brown hair & eyes ect....
What a surprise to have this blond, pink, blue-eyed beauty! I recall Bob called the worship team (having practice) and when the word came it was a girl there was a sound of worship & praise coming back over the phone!
She has had a heart for music & dance ever since!

originality
"About the most originality that any writer can hope to achieve honestly is to steal with good judgment." - that said....
I have stolen these from Josh Billings the author & humorist.......
Flattery is like cologne water,
to be smelt of, not swallowed.
It's not ignorance does so much damage;
it's knowin' so derned much that ain't so.
One of the greatest victories you can gain over someone
is to beat him at politeness.
Silence is one of the hardest arguments to refute.
There is no revenge so complete as forgiveness.
Don't have any more secrets than you can keep yourself.
Life consists not in holding good cards
but in playing those you hold well.

Keri....Sunshine Girl
My neice Keri is a special girl...
I remember her birth...just 2 months after Nate
and how she was so different than him lol
Light to carry for one thing...
and she'd bring you her diaper when she wanted to be changed..
and lay down and not move!!!
She was kinda quiet as a child...well at least we thought so,
kinda hard to get a word in edgewise when you're up against
LORI & NATE, JENI & SARAH!
She always had a beautiful smile...
the kind that lights up a room
She still does- and she shares it with everyone!
I love seeing her as a mom...she's a very good Mom too!
She went far away for college...hence the lack of pictures here...
The first time she was driving Joel home from Tulsa for a holiday...
i called her to say be sure and drive careful...she replied that she would, and that they planned to tow Joel behind the car on a skateboard!
One time she was coming home at Christmas but would not be here for Christmas Eve so we had our family party early and called it
"Keri Missus" (Merry Christmas)
There is a rumor that she is Grandma's favorite....
Of course that is hotly debated amongst the cuzins....
One thing is for sure this gal is full of surprises!!!!
WE LOVE YOU SUNSHINE!!!!

what's holding you back?
God Speaks
He directs
He tells you just what to do.
Then we....don't do it.
why?
"I know what I need to do is...."
Do you hear the call?
Do it even though you are afraid....
Do you recognize the gifting?
Step Up
Step Out
Step into it.
One small step of Faith...
GO
don't wait
DO IT!!!
Time is up.
