what?

OK so this morning...A consumers power truck and a bulldozer show up and tell me there gonna rip out my sidewalk and grass to fix "my neighbors" problem. ok.
Then I see they've parked across my driveway...guess I won't be going anywhere fast.
Next another knock at the door..."Hi, I'm from the water dept..we gotta problem down the block and we're turning off your water in a few minutes...
so tell me, how am I suppose to clean my house today for my bible study gathering tomorrow morning? What's next the electricity?

change...

sometimes fun and sometimes painful
why?
do i like it when I change things, but hate it when others do?
am I that inflexible?
or is there a limit to what I can handle in the change department.
Is it change that changes MY PLAN that upsets?
Is it that change...alters my perceived outcome?
Or do I see it as an inferior way of doing things?

God spoke to me a while ago...he said,
LISTEN...LIFE CHANGES.
simple.
why don't I remember that when I get surprised
why am I surprised?
Shouldn't I, after 50+ years of change...
AND A WORD FROM THE LORD...
understand this concept and accept it?

you would think. lol

Jeni Lynn

My Darling Niece Jeni

truly a one of a kind girl....
When she was born...we thought she looked just like Lori, but brunette
I had to lay down with her and let her twirl my hair all night in order for her to sleep.
AT 2yrs old, she was already in control of everyone else:
I was watching her & her sisters while the rents were in Haiti...It was bed time...and that's when the trouble started...
she had told each and every sister & cousin that THEY could sleep next to HER that night...I had a room full of crying kids...THANK GOD the phone rang and it was Pat, home early and anxious to pick up the girls!
We enjoyed watching her play sports esp. the years her and Sarah played on the same teams...and now look how she has grown into such a beautiful, godly, young woman...living on her own and serving Jesus!!! SO proud of you Jeni!
oh, and did I tell you about the time milk came squirting out of her nose at the dinner table?????

STILL PROMISING TO SLEEP NEXT TO THEM ALL!
