Monnor et Connor

Connor and I had a marvelous "Grandma Day"- His reward for Being a big boy (translation: potty trained)
We started out having Breakfast with Uncle Jimmy...Connor said'"Memember I came to your farm and there was Alpaca's?" Then he shook hands with jimmy to thank him for buying him breakfast. Next we went to my house for "CHIP N DALE" then out to find cowboy hats for Connor & Jordan...3 stores later we found them! and we found a Narnia sword...which Connor felt he must carry throughout the store and get the bad guys...Every so often he'd take off running...in pursuit of them...back to Grandma's for baseball, tennis, hockey ( he's very good at this)and then Connor made his own balance beam out of grandpa's wood...(yes indeed, the nut doesn't fall far from the tree) A much needed trip to visit Grandpa at school, then back to grandma's for (nerf) guns and more Chip N Dale....
ahhhhhhhhhhhhh.......
Can't wait for Jordan's day to come!

Jeni Lynn

My Darling Niece Jeni

truly a one of a kind girl....
When she was born...we thought she looked just like Lori, but brunette
I had to lay down with her and let her twirl my hair all night in order for her to sleep.
AT 2yrs old, she was already in control of everyone else:
I was watching her & her sisters while the rents were in Haiti...It was bed time...and that's when the trouble started...
she had told each and every sister & cousin that THEY could sleep next to HER that night...I had a room full of crying kids...THANK GOD the phone rang and it was Pat, home early and anxious to pick up the girls!
We enjoyed watching her play sports esp. the years her and Sarah played on the same teams...and now look how she has grown into such a beautiful, godly, young woman...living on her own and serving Jesus!!! SO proud of you Jeni!
oh, and did I tell you about the time milk came squirting out of her nose at the dinner table?????

STILL PROMISING TO SLEEP NEXT TO THEM ALL!

Thankful....
For my husband, Bob of 30 years, who puts up with me
and makes the coffee every morning.

For my amazing children Nathan & April, Joel & Stephanie, and my Sarah!
They are God Loving people, who work hard and bring me much Joy!

For my adorable Grandchildren Connor, Jordan, & Kaeden (who smiled at me)
They are hilarious & cute & loving & a lot of work...but well worth it!

My Sweet Mom....
The nicest person alive...who is my biggest fan & supporter...
and I am ever grateful for HER! (and her cookies & sewing abilities)

For MY FAMILY.....you know who you are....wonderful people!!!!

For Friends...especially those listen to my endless chatterings
For my Country...for all her obvious flaws...still the greatest nation on earth
and for our TROOPS...for their great sacrifice

These are gifts....everyone of them handpicked for me by

MY LORD & SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST.
Without whom I would be eternally lost... and a miserable human being.
and this is the thing....
While I was yet sinning....He loved me and gave his life for me.
What a gift.

Thank You Lord.
