Easter - as i recall from my memories....
My first Easter memory is sitting on the couch in my frilly slip eating easter eggs with my Dad.
Then searching for my Easter basket...I always had this question...How will I know it's mine?
A little older....walking to church in my hat and gloves and patent leather shoes.
easter egg hunting...
Ham for dinner ( potatoe salad, beans, salad, jello, pie) same menu for every family dinner for 20 years, and I didn't mind a bit. That's how we did things.
Early years with my kids...getting everyone dressed and to church...often Bob would have to dress them as I was at church early for rehearsals...I recall the year we all looked so good in purple and yellow....and sarah in her frilly dress with beat up tennis shoes on...he couldn't find the dress shoes. lol
Easter with my brothers and their families...
Then, Easter with our family and grandma's and grandpa's, aunts and uncles..
Crazy Easter (April's first) easter egg hunt turns violent- 3 more eggs found than I hid (?) and 3 people report being bitten during the scuffle...
The last two years (and this) we have not been at our own church, wanting instead to be with family, we have followed one of our kids to their church.
and this year... we had Family Easter on Friday, because of busy schedules.
The times are always changing. When you're a kid you never think it will change-it will always be this way. But, nobody wears patent leather shoes anymore, or hats & gloves... people die, move away, or life simply hijacks your holidays...
But this one thing never changes...
JESUS LIVES, and because He Lives...
I can face tomorrow...for these three things remain...
HOPE, FAITH and LOVE, and the Greatest of these is LOVE

and then....
Tough week, getting tougher all the time...mind blowing, trouble, crisis, conflict, change...
and My Loving Lord tells me this:
16 Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace always in every way. The Lord be with you all.
sigh....and I am at Peace.....

small blessings
Last week we were blessed to have Monday off for MLK- day, and were doubly blessed that Nate and the boys also had it off from school. So we made a day of it!
We took the boys bowling, and then to lunch and had a marvelous time with the entire family as we also planned our summer plans a little bit...Most of my pictures came out blurry :( I managed to get a few though....

A Maus Tale
I thought I'd write today about what i do with my life.
People say 'what have you been up to" but I rarely give the whole account, because we are usually just making small talk. Here is what I "do".
For the last few years I have been studying, training, and teaching on the "Prophetic"....simply put, hearing and speaking God's Word.
I have been under the tutelage of Pastor Ron after the Kansas city model of prophecy. We have introduced this ministry thru our Womens's Bible Study, and then as Prayer Ministry open to all. The last two years have been spent in training, activation, and practicing receiving revelation, interpreting and applying the knowledge received. My training included personal prophecy, prophetic revelation & dream interpretation.
Last fall I was asked to administrate and develop Prophecy Rooms at my church and co-lead the Team.
These have been a huge success, and testimonies pour in weekly.
I am so blessed to be allowed use the gifts and callings given to Me from God to equip the saints, for the work the ministry, and the edifying of the body of Christ.
What fun is is to learn that your quirks were part of a unique design by your intimate creator ...lovingly and on purpose; to be affirmed, and pass the blessing to many.
My life is so rich and fufilled, and i continue to reap the blessing of His favor while imparting edification, exhoratation and comfort to others.
Yeah...GOD is GOOD, and I am in awe of Him and His greatness.
